Chase House is a residential and nursing home in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, set in a manor house built in the 1850s for Chase Farm. We care for older adults whose needs range from help with washing and dressing to 24-hour nursing, dementia care and end of life care.

How a placement can be funded
Local authority
We accept local authority placements following a needs assessment. The council funds accommodation and support, and our fees are set against the resident’s assessed needs, including the staffing they require. Call 01462 731276 to check availability or request a pre-admission assessment.
NHS Continuing Healthcare
Where a Continuing Healthcare assessment finds a primary health need, the NHS can fund the full package. We also accept joint-funded placements, where the local authority covers accommodation and support and the NHS covers healthcare.
Private pay
If you’re arranging care privately for a relative, come and visit first. Meet the team, see the rooms and gardens, and have an assessment before you decide anything. Fees reflect the level of care needed, and where one-to-one staff are shared, residents only pay for their share.
Personal budgets
We work with individual and personal budgets and direct payments, so residents and families can choose their care and manage how it’s paid for.
