What is nursing care?

Nursing care is for people whose health needs mean they need care from qualified nurses, day and night. That might be because of a disability, limited mobility or a long-term medical condition.

At Chase House, nursing care is provided by or under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, 24 hours a day. Each resident’s care is planned around them, and because we also provide dementia care and end of life care, residents can often stay at Chase House as their needs change, without having to move to another care home.

Residents live in a home that dates back to the 1850s, with high-ceilinged bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities, and secure gardens with water features, a sensory garden, and animal and bird enclosures. They’re welcome to bring their own furniture where space allows.
